Pak Sahafat – The Israeli Prime Minister welcomed the ambitious new US plan to counter China’s One Belt One Road initiative and accelerate trade between India and Europe through Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan and occupied Palestine.
According to the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted to the agreement to accelerate trade between India and Europe through Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and occupied Palestine, which is an agreement in opposition to China’s “One Road, One Belt” plan.
He stated: “Israel is at the heart of an unprecedented international project, a project that connects infrastructure between Asia and Europe. This relationship will lead to a long-term vision that will change the face of the Middle East and Israel.”
According to the Zionist website “i24”, Netanyahu further referred to the announcement of the American President Joe Biden regarding the planning to build “a railway and transport corridor” that will connect India to the Middle East and Europe and from Saudi Arabia and occupied Palestine is passing, he said: “This is news that will lead us to a new era of unique and unprecedented regional and global integration and cooperation.”

On the other hand, John Feiner, Deputy National Security Adviser of the US President also explained: “The MoU will be a proposed rail and shipping corridor between the United States of America, India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the European Union and other G20 member countries. This project has huge potential, but I don’t know exactly how long it will take.”
It is said that this Biden plan is in opposition to China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, which Iran is at the heart of, a plan China has been implementing since a decade ago and connects four continents.
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen also said: “I welcome the proposal of Joe Biden, the president of the United States, regarding the continental connection project that connects India to the Mediterranean Sea through the [Persian] Gulf. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues its efforts to strengthen the ties between the countries that are members of the Ibrahim Agreement (normalization of relations) and Israel and its path will be shortened in an unprecedented way. This is part of the vision of regional peace and the last fruit of the Ibrahim agreement that was signed 3 years ago. This will change the face of the Middle East, increase the stability and prosperity of the people of the region, and reduce the cost of living for the citizens of Israel.”
