Pak Sahafat – The former speaker and current representative of the Iraqi parliament stressed that the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Haj Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and Haj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the former deputy of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization, is a symbol of the crime of America and the Zionist regime.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Saturday, citing the information base of the Iraqi Al Hashd Al Shabi, “Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani” said that the victory commanders (martyrs Haj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis) are symbols that bear witness to the betrayals and crimes of America and the Zionist regime.
He added at the commemoration ceremony of the third anniversary of the martyrdom of the commanders of the victory operation against the ISIS terrorist group in Iraq: The first character (martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis) was martyred for Iraq and the second character (martyr Lieutenant General Haj Qasim Soleimani) was martyred for supporting and helping Iraq.

Al-Mashhadani stated: These two martyrs are heroic commanders who lived together and fought against oppression and terrorism and remained on this principle.
In the morning of January 2, 2019, the American drones targeted the convoy carrying the commander Haj Qassem Soleimani and Haj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the deputy of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization, during an official trip and at the exit of Baghdad airport.
In the wake of this terrorist act, along with the burning of the Iranian people’s anger and revenge against American state terrorism, grief and sorrow spread throughout Iran, and Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, announced three days of public mourning.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council convened a meeting after this terrorist attack and emphasized on revenge against the criminals whose hands are stained with the blood of martyr Soleimani.
