Yemeni official: Saudis are playing with fire/we will get our rights with peace or war

Pak Sahafat – A member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen stated that the Saudi regime is playing with fire and emphasized on taking away the rights of the Yemeni nation from the aggressors through peace or war.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Al-Malouma news agency, “Mohammed Saleh Al-Naimi”, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, said: Saudi Arabia’s desire to end the war on its own terms is only irrational wishful thinking and far from the existing reality and history.

Al-Naimi noted: We tell the Saudi government to stop playing with fire. Because the rights of the Yemenis will not be ignored and we will take them either by war or peace.

He also emphasized: The Saudi government must accept that the people of Yemen have imposed a reality that is different from the era before the September 21 revolution.

Yemen’s Ansarullah movement previously threatened the Saudi coalition with an unexpected military surprise and an unprecedented future if it continues military operations and imposes restrictions on border crossings.

Yemeni official: The establishment of a ceasefire depends on the end of the blockade of Yemen

Ali al-Kahhoum, a member of Ansarullah’s political office, accused the Saudi coalition of stubbornness and missing the opportunity to achieve peace in Yemen on his personal page on the Twitter social network.

He emphasized: Instead of deception and empty promises, and adopting double standards and stubbornness, betting on the time factor, wasting opportunities, and narrowing the options ahead, the Saudi coalition should correct its aggressive policy.

The war in Yemen has killed 377,000 people by the end of 2021 and has damaged the Yemeni economy by 126 billion dollars, and according to the United Nations, 80% of the Yemeni people are in need of humanitarian aid.

In this regard, news sources reported on Thursday morning that the Saudi coalition targeted Yemen’s Hodeida province with air, missile and artillery attacks in the past 24 hours.

The ceasefire in Yemen, which has been repeatedly violated by the aggressor Saudi coalition, was extended once before following UN consultations. The 2-month extension of this ceasefire ended on August 11, 2022, which was extended again and ended on October 10.

From April 6th, 2014, Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, and with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime, launched extensive attacks against Yemen – the poorest Arab country.

After 7 years of invading Yemen and killing thousands of people and destroying the country’s infrastructure, these countries not only did not achieve their goals, but they were forced to accept a cease-fire following the missile and drone strikes of the Yemeni armed forces deep into their territory.
