According to a spokesman for the London Ambulance Service, at around 12:34 a.m. local time on Friday, an ambulance arrived on Ajour Street to report the incident and transported two injured men and a woman to hospital, the status of these three people is unknown.
According to the reports: Police, firefighters and ambulances are reportedly still near the intersection of Seymour Street, and traffic is blocked in both directions. Published images of the scene show a large number of police and ambulance vehicles.
Westminster Police have confirmed the attack with a cold steel weapon and have also issued Order 60, which allows police to stop and search operations.
Local media reported unconfirmed reports of a woman being arrested. The motive and nature of the attack have not yet been determined.
