He stressed that national unity is the main cornerstone for confronting the Zionist occupier and the plans of this regime; Plans aimed at destroying the Palestinian cause and destroying the rights of its people to land, sanctuaries and the return of refugees.
The Hamas official clarified: “We are making internal and external contacts to make these efforts successful, and we have taken steps to complete our actions.”
Noting that the measures were aimed at dialogue with Fatah officials and other Palestinian groups, Haniyeh said the aim was to achieve unity through the reorganization of institutions such as the Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority.
In the end, he clarified; these actions are based on the rule, participation and national agreements and on the will of the Palestinian people, which will be done through free and transparent elections.
