Yemeni diplomat: Reopening of Iranian embassy upsets Americans and Zionists

The ambassadors of the Yemeni National Salvation Government in Iran and Syria considered the New Year as one of the most influential years in the field of political and diplomatic relations for this government.

Abdullah Sabri, Yemen’s ambassador to Damascus, said relations between the country and Syria go beyond political coordination.

In an interview with the Yemeni Al-Masira network on Thursday night, he said: “Coordination between Yemen and the Syrian Arab Republic has never stopped politically.”

The ambassador of the Yemeni National Salvation Government in Syria said: “There are broad new trade, economic, cultural and scientific horizons that will soon begin between Yemen and Syria.”

He added: “2020 was the year of the opening and beginning of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and we will reap the fruits of this coordination and relations in 2010.”

In this regard, “Ibrahim Mohammed al-Dailami”, the Yemeni ambassador in Tehran, in an interview with Al-Masira, said that in 2020, extensive diplomatic and political activities took place, including the appointment of an ambassador in Damascus and the opening of the Iranian embassy in Sanaa.

He called the Islamic Republic of Iran’s reopening of its embassy in Sanaa an important achievement in Yemeni diplomacy that has upset the United States and the Zionists.

Dailami said: “There are several countries that have established contact with Sanaa with the aim of opening the horizon for the exchange of diplomatic relations, and all of this is the result of the military and political achievements that Sanaa (the government of national salvation) has achieved.”

The Yemeni National Salvation Government has appointed an ambassador in Tehran and Damascus over the past year, angering the Saudi-UAE coalition and its supporters in attacking Yemen.
