According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from the official news agency of Saudi Arabia (WAS), “Salman bin Abdulaziz” has received a written message from “Xi Jinping” about the strong and strong relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen these relations in various fields.
According to this report, the President of China has announced his country’s support for Saudi Arabia’s request to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

“Waleed bin Abdul Karim Al-Khariji,” Saudi Arabia’s deputy foreign minister, received this message on behalf of the country’s foreign minister during a meeting with China’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Chen Weiqing.
This report adds, in this meeting, bilateral relation and ways to strengthen these relations, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed.
China and Saudi Arabia signed a strategic partnership agreement in 2016, which is related to long-term sustainable energy cooperation. As a result of this agreement, the value of bilateral trade between the two countries reached 65.2 billion dollars in 2020.
In 2021, Beijing invited Saudi Arabia to become a consultative and observer member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (a regional security and development group initiated by China).
