Pak Sahafat – The spokesman of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in a statement on Monday night, in response to the Zionist army’s report about the assassination of Shireen Abu Aqla, demanded the punishment of the Zionist regime.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, Hazem Qassem’s statement said: The investigation by the Zionist regime is a new attempt to avoid accepting full responsibility for the crime of this assassination, which all the evidences indicate that it was carried out by the occupying regime.
He added: The assassination of Shirin Abu Aqleh by the occupying army is a full-scale crime, and the occupying regime must be held accountable and must not be allowed to escape punishment.
Earlier, Avikhai Adrei, the spokesperson of the Zionist regime army, said: Seven bullets were fired from the weapons of the Israeli army after Shirin Abu Aqila, a Palestinian reporter of the Al Jazeera network, fell to the ground.
In an attempt to escape from the responsibility of this inhuman act, he said: There is a high possibility that the final shot was fired by the Israeli soldiers at Abu Aqla, but this was a mistake and the Israeli forces did not realize that Shirin was a journalist.

Adrei also claimed: The area where Abu Aqila was present was not completely visible to our forces who closed the street in the middle. We took delivery of the bullet, and through joint investigation with the American side that brought it from Ramallah, we were unable to match it or identify its source because the bullet was damaged.
