Supporters of Palestine gathered in front of the Israeli embassy in London

Pak Sahafat – Dozens of people from different sections of the British people gathered in front of the Israeli Embassy in London in protest against the brutal attacks of the Zionists against the Palestinians and the decision of the leaders of this regime to expand settlements in the West Bank and expressed their anger by shouting death to Israel.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, in this protest organized by the British Islamic Human Rights Commission, the participants demanded an end to the occupation, violence and apartheid system in occupied Palestine.

Masoud Shajareh, the head of this Islamic organization, said to the participants: The British people are becoming more awake and aware of the crimes of the Zionists every day, and the opposition against the apartheid regime of Israel and support for the Palestinian people is increasing.

He pointed to the new and far-reaching bill of the London government, which deprives the public institutions in England of the right to withdraw from trade with the Zionist regime, and warned: this action will lead to the suppression of justice for the Palestinians and the arrogance of the Zionists.

Other speakers also stated in this protest movement that resistance is the only way to achieve the rights of Palestinians.

One of the speakers named Ms. Shazana from the Cage Human Rights Institute said: We have gathered here once again to defend the Palestinians and their resistance. We consider the victims of the resistance as heroes who stood up to the end of their lives against the Israeli war machine.

The protestors in this gathering demanded to put pressure on the British government to stop the illegal actions of the Zionist regime. Also, the participants carrying Palestinian flags and slogans demanding Palestinian resistance and freedom shouted: From the river to the sea, Palestine must be freed.

This is while the extremist and armed Zionist settlers have recently attacked the Tarmsiya settlement in the northeast of Ramallah city, in the West Bank, and set fire to Palestinian cars and houses.

The Ministry of Health of Palestine announced that in these clashes, 27-year-old Omar Qatin was martyred while fighting in Neshanyan settlement and dozens of others were injured.

Last week, Hossam Zamlat, the ambassador of the Palestinian Authority, warned about the deterioration of the situation in the West Bank by publishing a video message on Twitter.

He said: I am talking to you in a situation where the situation in occupied Palestine has reached a dangerous and deadly stage. Israeli militias are brutalizing all over the occupied territories. They have set people’s (Palestinian) lives on fire and martyred a Palestinian in the past days.

He called the Zionists’ attacks a terrorist act and addressed the heads of countries and the Western media: these actions are based on the international laws of war crimes. Israel must be held accountable; otherwise their crimes will not end.

On July 3rd, Josep Borrell, the European Union foreign policy official, issued a strong statement condemning the behavior of the Zionists and calling for an end to the “deadly cycle of violence” between Palestine and the Zionist occupiers.

On Friday, the British Foreign Ministry announced the visit of a diplomatic delegation of 17 mostly European countries to the city of Tarmsiya to express their strong protest and condemnation of the Zionist crimes against the Palestinians.
