Pak Sahafat – “Ali Abu Shahin”, a member of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, said on Sunday morning in response to the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian groups and the Zionist regime that the Palestinian will win over the occupation.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Al-Masira report, Ali Abu Shahin added: “What happened today is the victory of the will of Palestine, and we dedicate it to the martyrs of Palestine.”
He said: The Islamic Jihad movement, with the support of the people, the axis of resistance and the free people of Palestine, stood in front of the enemy who occupied the Arab capitals in a few hours.
A member of the political office of Islamic Jihad added: Netanyahu proudly claimed and said that he will target the military infrastructure of the Islamic Jihad movement, the Islamic Jihad movement tells him that he is a liar and that the situation of the resistance is good.
Abu Shahin emphasized the unity of the battlefields by stating that the enemy could not defeat the Islamic Jihad movement, which supports the people in the West Bank.
Pointing out that the ceasefire agreement is similar to the April 1996 agreement in Lebanon, which was imposed on the enemy in order to refrain from attacking civilians, he noted: This movement has taken into account the interests of the Palestinian people.
This senior member of Islamic Jihad also said: In the ceasefire agreement, we considered the interests of our nation and we adhere to the agreement on the condition that the enemy does not attack the civilians, and if he acts against it, we will dissolve this agreement.
Abu Shahin further stated that stopping the policy of terror was the demand of Islamic Jihad and said: We are only talking about the end of this round of conflict and this is not a compromise agreement with the enemy.

He also pointed out that in this round, Saraya al-Quds fired rockets, but the resistance groups also supported him, and added: The enemy was looking for differences, but the resistance, with its knowledge, made the positions equal.
In the end, Abu Shahin said: The missile is a characteristic of resistance and sends a message to the enemy that he is ready to face any other aggression.
On Saturday night, news sources announced the beginning of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian resistance forces and the Zionist regime at 22:00 local time, with the mediation of Egypt.
In this regard, Al Jazeera reported that only minutes after the start of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the alarm of the threat of rocket attacks was sounded in the Zionist settlements of the Gaza Strip.
Mohammad Al-Hindi, one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement, told Al Jazeera: “The ceasefire agreement includes stopping the targeting of civilians, people and homes.”
He added: “We have strengths and capabilities that allow us to counter attacks, and the real guarantee is our unity against (the) Israeli regime.”
The Israeli army announced on Saturday that Palestinian groups have fired 1,234 rockets from Gaza at Israeli targets and that the Israeli army has attacked 371 targets in Gaza since the beginning of the recent developments.
The Israeli army added: Out of a total of 1,234 rockets fired by Palestinian groups, 976 rockets crossed the border of Gaza and entered the occupied territories.
Previously, the Hebrew-language media had admitted that the Islamic Jihad movement had sent two million Israelis to shelters and disrupted their lives by launching 1,200 rockets.
