Pak Sahafat – The government of Pakistan strongly condemned the attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist occupying authorities and members of the Knesset supported by this regime’s forces, and called on the international community to take immediate measures to end Israel’s aggression in the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, the Spokesperson’s Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan issued a statement and announced: This country strongly condemns the attack on al-Aqsa Mosque by an official of the Israeli occupation regime and Knesset members supported by the Zionist occupation forces and emphasizes that the desecration of one of Islam’s holiest sites is yet another heinous act in Israel’s series of provocative actions to disrespect the religious sentiments of more than a billion Muslims around the world.
It is stated in this statement: Such actions are against the right of freedom of expression, religion or opinion of the Palestinian people and violate all humanitarian and human rights laws and norms, therefore, Pakistan asks the international community to play its role in preventing Israeli aggression.

The spokesman’s office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan added that the aggressions of the Israeli regime have intensified since the beginning of this year and it is time for the international community to take immediate measures to end the aggression of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Emphasizing the need to solve the Palestinian issue in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the government of Pakistan said: Islamabad insists on its demand for the formation of an independent Palestinian state according to the pre-1968 borders with Quds Sharif as its capital.
Last Thursday, the Zionists attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque under the pretext of a “flag march”, which was met with a wave of condemnation from Islamic countries. Holding the flag of this regime, the Zionist settlers chanted anti-Arab slogans and started dancing and singing.
News sources also reported the participation of “Itamar Ben Goyer”, the radical minister of internal security of the Zionist regime, “Bezalel Smotrich” the minister of finance, “Israel Katz” the minister of energy and “Yuli Edelstein” the head of the security and foreign policy commission of the Knesset of this regime in the “flag march” in Occupied Jerusalem reported.
