Pak Sahafat – Hanan al-Attar, the wife of Jamal Khashoggi, the murdered Saudi-American journalist, told former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to keep quiet and not lie about her husband.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from the Hill website, Hanan al-Attar said in an interview with NBC News: I am committed to silencing all the people who publish books, devalue my husband and collect money through it.
In his new book, former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo belittled the killing of Washington Post journalist Khashoggi by the Al Saud government in September 2017 and called the events surrounding this heinous murder “fake violence”.
In response to Pompeo’s writings in this book, Hanan Al-Attar stressed: He does not know my wife. She should be quiet and not tell lies about my husband.

Al-Attar described Pompeo’s information about Khashoggi’s murder as “bad and wrong” and called them unacceptable.
The former US Secretary of State, who is a possible candidate for the 2024 presidential election, has written about this Saudi-American journalist in a part of his new book.
In this book, Pompeo strongly criticizes the media coverage of Khashoggi’s murder and says that the media made him a Saudi Bob Woodward (a famous American journalist). The former head of the CIA also described the issues after Khashoggi’s death as a “fake violence” that was “fueled by the media”.
Pompeo also wrote in this book: In fact, Khashoggi was an activist who supported the losing team in the race for the throne and was upset that he was exiled.
The former US Secretary of State also stated in his book that Khashoggi’s murder was “ugly” and not “surprising”.
Washington Post columnist Khashoggi was brutally murdered in the Saudi Arabian embassy in Turkey in 2017. American intelligence has determined that the assassination of Khashoggi was an assassination approved by Saudi leaders.
