Erdogan’s criticism of the West’s unilateral policy against Moscow

Pak Sahafat – During a joint conference with his Serbian counterpart in Belgrade, Russian President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called the West’s policy against Russia wrong.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing Reuters, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that he does not think the West’s provocative policies against Russia are correct. He said these words in response to the announcement of the new policy of the European Union to determine the Russian gas price ceiling.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously threatened to cut off Russian gas supplies to Europe if the European Union does so.

Speaking at a joint news conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade, Erdogan said: There is no need to mention names, but I can clearly say that I do not understand the position of the West.

The European Commission intends to set a price ceiling for Russian gas exports through the pipeline in order to deal with the increase in energy prices, in order to support electricity producers who are facing a lack of liquidity.
