Eight US-affiliated Kurdish elements killed in al-Hasakah, Syria

In several separate attacks, unidentified individuals targeted Kurdish checkpoints and one of their vehicles in al-Hasakah province, killing and wounding 13 people.

Syrian news sources reported the shooting of unknown individuals by Kurdish militias known as the “Syrian Democratic Forces” – affiliated with the United States in northeastern Syria.

Al-Watan newspaper reported in a breaking news that five Kurd militants were killed in the shooting.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a militant vehicle on the Al-Hul-Tal Hamis route in the al-Hasakah Reef.

The official Syrian News Agency (SANA) also reported that unidentified gunmen attacked a Kurdish checkpoint in the villages south of al-Hasakah.

According to Sanaa, unidentified individuals targeted the checkpoints of these US-affiliated elements in the villages of Al-Dashisha, Al-Hamra, Qawiya, Hawiziyah and Kabiba.

Local sources reported that three Kurd elements were killed and five others were wounded in the attacks.

Meanwhile, the people of eastern and northeastern Syria have demonstrated in protest of the US occupation and its affiliates.
