Britain imposed new sanctions on Russia

Pak Sahafat – The British government has updated its list of banned exports to Russia and imposed new sanctions on the country.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency report from Al Jazeera on Friday morning, New sanctions imposed for export to Russia include jet fuel and fuel additives, sterling or EU banknotes, as well as a ban on the supply of such banknotes to persons associated with Russia.

The bans also include the provision of technical assistance, financial services, funds and brokerage services related to the import of iron and steel.

Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Liz Terrace announced that the country would tighten sanctions against Moscow until Russia withdraws completely from Ukraine.

Britain has been an active player in the conflict since the start of the Ukraine war, escalating tensions and escalating the conflict by adopting anti-Russian positions and sending weapons and military equipment to Ukraine. Britain imposes new sanctions on Russia almost once a week.

The British Prime Minister, who speaks to the President of Ukraine on the phone almost every week, claimed in a statement: “We will increase economic pressure and sanctions against Russia, and we will impose new sanctions on Russia every week.”

On February 21, 2022, the President of Russia recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbas region, criticizing the West’s indifference to Moscow’s security concerns.

Three days later, on March 26, 1400, Putin launched a military operation against Ukraine, which he called “special operations,” thus turning tense Moscow-Kiev relations into a military confrontation. Conflicts in Ukraine and reactions to Russia’s action continue.
