Ansarullah: The United Nations is passive about Yemen

Pak Sahafat – Mohammad Abdul Salam, spokesman for the Ansarullah movement, said on Monday night in response to the violation of the country’s airspace by the Saudi coalition and the passive position of the United Nations: If Yemeni drones flew in the airspace of the invading coalition countries, the UN would take immediate action.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from “Al-Masira” network, Abdul Salam also said that sending a spy drone into the skies of Sanaa is a hostile act that shows that the aggressor countries have no respect for the existing UN ceasefire.

The head of the Yemeni negotiating team also blamed the aggressor countries for the consequences of these provocative and hostile actions.

The Yemeni army announced Monday night that it had shot down a Saudi coalition spy plane.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that the 4 CH aircraft was targeted by a Yemeni surface-to-air missile.

According to a Yemeni military official, the plane was shot down in the skies of Sanaa after violating the ceasefire and carrying out hostile actions.

On April 1, Hans Grundberg announced that the parties to the agreement in Yemen had agreed to a two-month, extended ceasefire that would take effect on April 2.

The Saudi-led Arab aggression coalition, the forces of the resigned Yemeni government, and the Ansarullah movement welcomed the ceasefire.

One of the most important clauses in the agreement was the resumption of commercial flights from Sanaa Airport with two flights a week, one to Egypt and the other to Jordan.
