Pak Sahafat – The plan presented by Mike Wenzel, the military adviser of the US Embassy in occupied Palestine, to dominate Jenin and Nablus, is a continuation of the 2005 plan by Keith Dayton with the aim of pitting Palestinians against Palestinians.
According to the report of Pak Sahafat International News Agency, less than a month ago, a meeting was held under the title of “Aqaba” port meeting in the south of occupied Palestine under the supervision of the United States, with the presence of the Zionist regime, the Palestinian Authority, Jordan and Egypt. The main goal of this meeting was to enable the Palestinian Authority to take control of the West Bank, but this effort took place in the form of a plan from the United States that is to be implemented by Mike Wenzel, the military advisor of the United States Embassy in occupied Palestine.
“Mike Wenzel” designs details
The goal of the “Wenzel” plan is the participation of the United States in security cooperation and the strengthening of the Palestinian Authority to suppress the resistance in the West Bank. According to this plan, high-ranking representatives of the United States military will be present at the joint security coordination meetings – which are held between the commanders of the security apparatus of the Palestinian Authority and the commanders of the Zionist regime’s army. US representatives will send regular monthly reports to the US military on security progress.
Another aspect of “Mike Wenzel’s” plan lies in the training of Special Forces of the government of the Palestinian Authority. American forces will train 5,000 self-governing forces in Jordan. These trainings are carried out with the aim of controlling the 2 regions of Jenin and Nablus. These 5,000 troops are currently being trained in Jordanian barracks, but in addition to the training they are currently receiving, they will also be given special training under the supervision of the United States.
After the training, Palestinian forces will be sent to a special camp between Jenin and Nablus to stop the activities of armed groups in these areas by entering Palestinian cities and camps. The actions taken by these forces in the mentioned area will be done under the supervision of the American forces, and at the same time, the activities of the occupying army in these areas will be reduced.
In contrast, special security forces from Western countries will be deployed in the areas of conflict between Palestinians and settlers in Nablus and the south of the West Bank. In this context, the “Wenzel” plan emphasizes that the western parties who participate in this sector should be active in the form of security monitoring teams in the above-mentioned conflict areas.
Another part of the “Wenzel” plan emphasizes that the security apparatus of the Palestinian Authority must communicate with the armed groups present in Nablus and Jenin. This communication should be done with the aim of convincing some groups to stop armed action in exchange for some concessions.
Diplomatic pressure, before presenting the “Wenzel” plan
What was mentioned above is the operational and executive plan of the United States, which is to be implemented by “Mike Wenzel”. Before this plan was presented and approved by those present at the “Aqaba meeting”, it was imposed on the Palestinian side by the diplomatic pressure of the United States.
During the trips of US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, and CIA Director William Burns to Palestine under the severe occupation of Mahmoud Abbas, the leadership of the Palestinian Authority was forced to accept this plan.
“Mike Wenzel” was present in the meetings that took place with Abu Mazen on the sidelines of the above trips, accompanied by “Majid Faraj”, the head of the security apparatus of the Palestinian Authority. The heads of the security agencies of Egypt and Jordan also accompanied America in this matter and in their meetings with Abu Mazen, they pressured him to accept this plan.
“Wenzel” plans along “Dayton” plan
The plan, now presented under the title of “Mike Wenzel” plan, is the same plan that was implemented since 2005 by “Keith Dayton”, the former American security coordinator in the West Bank. During the second intifada, “Dayton” designed a plan in the West Bank and implemented it since 2005, which included training Palestinian forces in Jordan and confronting these trained forces with Palestinian fighters in the West Bank.
During the second intifada, Dayton realized that many of the weapons of the self-governing organization’s security apparatus were used in the intifada against the Zionists. The members of the security apparatus of the Self-Governing Organization are more affected by the developments in the West Bank due to the fact that their families are present in the West Bank. Therefore, by establishing bases in Jordan, he selected the forces of the security organization of the Self-Governing Organization from Jordanian Palestinians and trained them there and sent them to the West Bank. Since then, 10 battalions of the Security Forces of the Self-Governing Organization have all come to the Bank from Jordan, but their training center is located in Jordan and they go to Jordan for training.
It seems that what “Wenzel” wants to do to suppress Jenin and Nablus is the continuation of the same “Dayton” plan in the form of special training to suppress Palestinian fighters by the Palestinians themselves. In fact, the Zionist army and the United States have come to the definite conclusion that it is possible to counter resistance in the West Bank, and as a result, they have resorted to the old colonial policy of “divide and conquer”. They now want to pit Palestinians against Palestinians in order to both pay less and weaken the Palestinian front by fanning the flames of internal conflict.
But the point they avoid by burying their heads in the snow is that the usurpation of a land will not be erased from the minds of the real owners of that land by any of these measures, and the Palestinian ocean is so vast that it can dissolve all these illusions.
