Pak Sahafat – Syrian news sources reported that two illegal US bases in eastern Syria were targeted and at least one American was wounded in this attack.
According to the report of the Pak Sahafat International News Agency, on Friday night, two illegal bases of the American occupation in the two oil and gas fields “Konico” and “Al-Omar” in Deir ez-Zor were targeted by rocket attacks.
Syrian news sources reported that following these rocket attacks, the electricity of the American bases was cut off.
Al-Alam news channel reported that more than 20 rockets were fired at the base of the American occupation in al-Omar oil field in Syria.
Al-Mayadeen network office director reported, quoting field sources, that more than 15 missiles have hit American bases in Koniko gas field, and there are reports of casualties as a result of these attacks.
A US military official told Al Jazeera that one of their bases in eastern Syria was hit by 8 missiles and that Washington is assessing the amount of casualties and damages.

This source said that at least one American was injured in Friday night’s rocket attacks on al-Omar and Koniko bases.
In this regard, an American official announced in a conversation with Al Jazeera that an American soldier was injured in a new attack that targeted 3 positions of American forces in Syria and his condition is stable.
He added that the American air defense shot down 2 drones out of 3 that attacked one of the US positions in eastern Syria.
At the same time, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced that the US planes that targeted Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria had taken off from Al-Adeed base in Qatar.

In an attempt to justify the illegal presence and occupation of the US in Syria, a Pentagon official (US Department of Defense) claimed that Washington’s mission is to ensure the complete destruction of ISIS.
Supporting the recent attacks on areas in Syria, this American official claimed that these attacks were aimed at supporting the American occupation forces.
This official, whose name was not revealed by Al Jazeera, claimed that Iran should not violate security and stability in the region. This official claimed: We are sure that the drone that targeted our facilities in Syria was Iranian.
