Elections and the failure of the Iraq insecurity project

Holding the Iraqi elections in complete security with the influential instructions of the authority among all components and currents was a great blow to the project of Washington and its allies against this country.

According to the international group of Pak Sahafat News Agency, the Iraqi parliamentary elections are considered the most sensitive elections in the country since the fall of Saddam, because not only do the people decide the fate of themselves and their country, but in the continuation of this election, the way of interaction with some countries in the region is redefined.

In addition, the most important thing for the Iraqi parliamentary elections is that after the formation of the parliament, a new government will come to power to deal with important issues such as the withdrawal of the US occupation forces, national reconciliation, reconstruction of Iraq and preparation equip the country’s military to take full responsibility for security and law enforcement.

Which currents won the most seats?

The election was held in Iraq for three days from Friday to Sunday (October 8-10); In the first stage, special groups such as the security forces, refugees, prisoners, etc. cast their ballots in the ballot box, and the next stage belonged to the general public.

The results of this election were announced in various stages since yesterday morning. Although there are still rumors about the results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections and there are different results in the composition of the lists (due to the non-finalization of the results), it can be said that the general characteristics of the lists, electoral processes and independents are drawn. Preparations have been made for the entry of political currents into the coalitions to form the future government of this country.

According to this, the Sadr faction with 73 seats, the “Leadership” coalition led by Mohammad al-Halbousi with 38 seats, the rule of law coalition led by “Nouri al-Maliki” with 37 seats, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party with 30 seats, which if formed with each other They can hold 178 seats, which is more than half the number of seats in the Iraqi parliament (329 seats).

The results also show that independents won 20 seats and the “Extension” movement, which emerged from the October protests, 9 seats.

Of course, given the non-finalization of the results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections and the possibility of changing the results, the statistics provided so far are approximate.
