Hadi Al-Amiri demanded the withdrawal of Turkish forces from Iraq

Pak Sahafat – “Hadi Al-Amiri”, the head of Al-Fath coalition and the deputy commander of Al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Iraq Popular Mobilization), demanded the withdrawal and withdrawal of Turkish forces from Iraqi territory.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing the office of the head of Fatah coalition, “Hadi Al-Amiri” hosted Turkish Foreign Minister “Hakan Fidan” in his office today.

In this meeting, Hadi Al-Amiri stressed the need for the withdrawal of Turkish forces from Iraqi lands and stated: Iraq does not allow the presence of any armed group in its lands based on its constitution and also rejects any encroachment of the origin of its lands to neighboring countries.

In this meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of respecting the national sovereignty of the two countries and preventing any aggression and attack, and prioritizing dialogue and cooperation to solve problems and create a safe and stable environment on the borders between the two countries.

In the continuation of the statement of the office of the head of Al-Fatah coalition, it is stated: The two sides discussed and exchanged opinions about the regional and international developments and discussed and analyzed the bilateral and economic relations and the importance of its development based on the interests of the two countries.

The two sides also discussed and exchanged views on the water issue and emphasized the need to solve the crisis and provide effective solutions for Iraq to achieve the status quo and to resolve the drought crisis.

Turkey has been violating Iraq’s territorial integrity for a long time under the pretext of confronting the elements of the Kurdistan Workers’ Group (PKK), which is on the terrorist list of Turkey, the United States, and the European Union.

Baghdad has repeatedly called Turkey’s attacks on northern Iraq an example of occupation, and many areas in northern Syria and Iraq have been depopulated following successive attacks by the Turkish army.
