The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky talked to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia on the phone about the latest developments in the resolution of the Ukraine crisis.
According to the Pak Sahafat news agency, citing the website of Russia Elium, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.
While reflecting this news, the official news agency of Saudi Arabia stated that the main topic of the telephone conversation between Zelensky and Bin Salman was the discussion about ways to end the war in Ukraine.

During this telephone conversation, the President of Ukraine thanked the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia for holding the recent international meeting in Jeddah with the aim of ending the war in Ukraine.
On the other hand, Mohammed bin Salman also emphasized Riyadh’s determination to try to end the war in Ukraine through dialogue, which he believes will end the harmful effects of the war in this country.
This is despite the fact that earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had said in response to the Jeddah meeting about the Ukraine crisis: Friends of Russia informed us that the non-invitation of Moscow to attend this meeting was intended to show the fact that negotiations on the Ukraine crisis would be fruitless without Russia’s presence.
Zelensky’s call with bin Salman was made a few days after the Saudi crown prince had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which Mohammed bin Salman praised Russia’s role in Saudi Arabia joining BRICS.
