Washington Post: America does not believe in the victory of Ukraine

Pak Sahafat – Despite Zelensky’s arguments, American officials are skeptical about Ukraine’s victory in the war with Russia.

According to the report of the international group of Pak Sahafat news agency, the American newspaper Washington Post reported on Friday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his meetings with US President Joe Biden, tried to convince him that Kiev could “absolutely” win over Russia, but American officials consider this claim of Ukraine to be very unlikely.

This Washington print newspaper says, quoting its knowledgeable sources: Zelensky used his brief meetings with Biden and members of Congress on Wednesday to convince them that Ukraine could win the war outright, but U.S. officials say in private circles that is highly unlikely.

According to this American publication, Zelensky’s arrival in Washington was also an attempt to strengthen the support of Congress lawmakers and other American officials for Ukraine.

This publication reports that the crew of the American military plane that Zelensky entered the United States with did not know until the last moment that the Ukrainian president was on the plane. This newspaper says: The trip took place within days, and only a limited group of White House and other senior administration officials were aware of the plans before the trip.

According to this newspaper, Zelensky had emphasized to Biden a few months ago that he wanted to make his first trip outside of Ukraine by visiting the United States.
