The Zionist regime destroyed hundreds of residential houses in the West Bank and Jerusalem

Last Sunday, the Zionist settlers attacked Hawara settlement, set fire to dozens of houses and shops, and destroyed cars. The Palestinians fought back and killed two Zionists.

Based on this, the occupying forces of Jerusalem blocked the entrances and exits of Hawara settlement and prevented the movement of Palestinians. They have also set up checkpoints around this area and placed observation posts on top of tall buildings. The Zionists also prevented the reopening of shops on the main street of the camp.

In this regard, Bezalel Smotrich, the Minister of Finance of the Zionist regime, has called for the destruction of Havarah. Despite many criticisms of him, Smotrich has not retracted his statements and has not apologized.

England, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain asked the Zionist regime to “rescind its recent decision to advance the construction of more than 7,000 settlement units in the West Bank and legitimize settlements in this region.”

The illegal actions of the Zionist regime are a clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2334 approved on December 23, 2016. This resolution, while calling the construction of settlements in the Palestinian lands illegal, calls on the Zionist regime to stop the construction of settlements.

Despite the resolutions approved by the UN Security Council to stop settlement construction in the West Bank, the Zionist occupation policy continues; To the extent that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu promised to annex parts of the West Bank to the occupied territories during the parliamentary election campaign.
