Pak Sahafat – An official in the committee of resistance against the Zionist settlement constructions said on Thursday night that the Zionist regime has destroyed about 1,000 residential houses and structures belonging to Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem this year (2022).
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from the official Syrian news agency (SANA), in a statement to SANA reporter, Amir Daoud, the head of the resistance committee against the Zionist settlements, said: The year 2022 was very difficult for the Palestinians as the occupation regime destroyed 850 homes and commercial, industrial and agricultural facilities in the West Bank, displacing hundreds of families or depriving them of their livelihoods.
He added: The demolition operation includes all neighborhoods in the Yata passenger area in the south of Hebron and the villages of the Jordan Valley, Nablus and Salfit.

The head of the resistance committee against the Zionist settlement constructions added that the occupiers also issued a warning to demolish 1,150 houses in the West Bank.
Daoud also said that in occupied Jerusalem and in line with the plans of the occupying regime to Judaize this city, the occupying bulldozers destroyed 211 residential houses and structures belonging to Palestinians in the settlements of Selwan, Yesiyeh and Beit Hanina.
In the end, he said that the occupying regime threatened to destroy 22,000 residential houses belonging to Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem, and this means the destruction of one third of the houses in this city.
According to Palestinian institutions, about 666,000 settlers live in 145 large settlements and 140 residential complexes in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
The United Nations and the Security Council previously declared any construction in the occupied Palestinian territories illegal.
