“People in the United States and around the world are witnessing this,” she said: They are worried, and on the other hand, Islamophobia is on the rise.
Ilhan Omar continued by announcing that she had received threats in this regard: In response to the people who are worried about my life, I must say that the issue is not only related to me, but also to all the young girls who are present all over the country and are veiled, and on the other hand, they are worried about their lives.
Asked what the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, and the leaders of the Democratic Party should do in this regard, the Muslim representative of the US Congress said: The most dangerous statement she made recently is that we have a problem in Congress because there is a terrorist there!
She said: When someone uses such a tone, not only my life but also the lives of my colleagues are in danger, because it is not clear who will hear this.
“Ilhan Omar said that it is possible for people to hear these voice messages and take up arms and, in their opinion, want to get the country out of the hands of terrorists,” she added: Those people are not joking. They must react and say that such language and such hatred will not be tolerated for the House of Representatives and Burbert must be punished.
The Muslim representative of the US Congress continued: He should be removed from membership in the committees. He should be reprimanded for the language he has used, and everything necessary should be done to convey a clear and decisive message to the American people that if Republicans cannot behave like adults and condemn such words.
According to Reuters, Loret Bubert, a Republican in the US House of Representatives and a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, has recently insulted Democratic MP Ilhan Omar, calling her a US warlord and an Islamic terrorist.
