According to the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, quoted by “Novosti” news agency, Former United States President Donald Trump declared Sunday morning in front of his supporters that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a smart leader, but the current US administration, on the contrary, is stupid.
In a speech broadcast on Newsmax, Trump said: “The problem is not whether Putin is smart or not. Of course, he is a smart leader. The real problem is that our leaders are stupid, they are very stupid.”

According to the former US president, Putin’s decision to send troops to Ukraine was influenced by the “pathetic withdrawal” of the US military from Afghanistan and other unwise actions. In addition, Trump called the special operation “savagery that should never have happened.”
Trump has previously said he finds it unpleasant to see Russian leader Vladimir Putin play the role of current US President Joe Biden. Trump also called Russia’s decision to recognize the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk regions a wise decision. According to him, this move by Moscow was very logical.
Noting that the Russian leader loves his country very much, the former US president added that in his administration, they (Trump and Putin) got along well.
