The Zionist town resembled a military fortress for fear of resistance missiles

Fearing missiles and snipers of the resistance, the Zionist regime placed several concrete barriers around a Zionist settlement near Gaza.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, The Israeli Ministry of War today (Thursday) deployed security equipment around a “kibbutz” (communal village) near Gaza to protect the area from snipers and rockets fired from the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth wrote, dozens of concrete barriers have been erected south of Kibbutz “Netif Hasrah” (north of the Gaza Strip) to prevent a repeat of last year. Last year, a Zionist was killed by a rocket fired at the area.

The report stated that, the move has angered settlers, as the kibbutzim look like a military fortress due to the large number of protective equipment.

Residents say increasing security in the area is like sending a message of weakness to the Palestinian resistance. A number of settlers wrote the words “wall of disgrace” on these concrete barriers.

Meanwhile, Israeli Chief of Joint Chiefs of Staff Avio Kokhawi this week (Monday, May 30) selected a new commander to attack the Gaza Strip in the next round of a possible battle with the Palestinian resistance.

Yossi Joshua, a military analyst at the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, revealed that Kokhawi had decided to appoint Brigadier General Chico Tamir to be in charge of the next round of offensive operations in Gaza.
