The United States has once again called for an investigation into the martyrdom of Abu Aqla

Pak Sahafat – A US State Department spokesman has reiterated that Washington calls for an investigation into the martyrdom of Al Jazeera’s Palestinian journalist Abu Aqla by Israeli forces.

According to international media, State Department spokesman Ned Price in a news conference on Friday evening local time about an investigation into the alleged martyrdom of Al Jazeera reporter Abu Aqla by Israeli forces, said that Washington reiterates its call for a “full and transparent” investigation into the murder of Shirin Abu Aqla, an American-Palestinian journalist, and any investigation must be held accountable.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Al Jazeera Qatar correspondent Shirin Abu Aqla was shot dead by Israeli forces during a news coverage last Wednesday following a Zionist attack on a fetal refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. He wore a hat and a vest that clearly identified him as a journalist.

Al Jazeera wrote about this: Abu Aqela, who has been working for the network since 1997, was martyred during news coverage of an Israeli attack on Jenin by live ammunition.

In response to the assassination of Abu Aqla, many countries, institutions and international organizations have condemned the Zionist crime and called for the Zionist regime to be held accountable for this atrocity and for an investigation to be carried out.

Meanwhile, the Zionist regime has canceled the investigation into the murder of Al-Jazeera correspondent Shirin Abu Aqla, who was shot dead by the occupying forces in Jenin, and has stated that it has no intention of opening an investigation into the journalist’s death.

Alexandria Ocasio Kurtz, a member of the US House of Representatives, said in an Instagram video that the Israeli army had killed Al Jazeera journalist Shirin Abu Aqla with US funding.

The member of the US House of Representatives added: I think it is important to pay attention to what happened to Shirin Abu Aqla. A veteran American journalist, he was assassinated by Israeli forces.

Occasio Cortez continued: The taxes we pay contribute to these Israeli actions, we in the United States cannot even get insurance, but we participate in these actions. We have to create a red line.

Referring to the bombing of the media building in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime last year, the member of the US House of Representatives said: An entire media building was bombed last year. These actions should not be taken without the consent of the United States.

Occasio Kurtz said the belief that Palestinians had human rights was called anti-Semitism.

In an exclusive interview with Qatar’s Al-Jazeera network, US House of Representatives member Rashida Talib said: To help Israel, the United States must force this (regime) to respect human rights.

The US envoy added: We support the call for an investigation into the killing of Abu Aqeel, and the United States must itself investigate the death of this journalist to find out the truth.

She also said that 10 members of the US Congress did not mention their names, calling for an investigation into the killing of Abu Aqla.

Taliban, meanwhile, said the violent incidents that took place during Abu Aqla’s funeral were a horrific act and should not be allowed to happen again.

US President Joe Biden on Friday evening in front of reporters in response to the question of whether the Israeli military condemns the attack on Palestinians attending the funeral of the sweet body of Abu Aqla and prevented them from participating in the march? Without condemning the actions of the Zionist military, he said that an investigation should be carried out.

The US President added: I do not know all the details, but I do know that research needs to be done.
