Pak Sahafat – The Saudi crown prince once again pointedly emphasized to the American government that “Riyadh is strongly committed and adheres to the principle of “one China”.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Friday, quoting Sputnik news agency, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman added: Riyadh supports China’s efforts to protect its territorial integrity and national sovereignty and the security and stability of its territories.

Bin Salman pointed out: Saudi Arabia supports China’s efforts in the field of eliminating extremism and strongly opposes foreign interference in China’s internal affairs under the pretext of protecting human rights.

The President of China arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday for an official visit that will continue until Saturday.

According to Mao Ning, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Chinese President Xi Jinping will participate in the meeting of the leaders of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and China.

Ning referred to Xi Jinping’s visit to Riyadh as “a fundamental turning point in China’s relations with the Arab world.”

On this occasion, Al-Riyadh newspaper wrote in an article: The visit of the Chinese president to Riyadh is the beginning of a new era of relations with the Arab world.

On Thursday, the President of China met and talked with high-ranking Saudi officials and a number of other Arab leaders, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

This visit of the President of China to Riyadh was done in the shadow of tension in the relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States due to the decision of the OPEC+ alliance to reduce oil production.
