The Saudi coalition seized a ship carrying Yemeni fuel

Pak Sahafat – The spokesperson of the Yemen Gas Company announced on Tuesday night that the Saudi coalition has seized a ship carrying Yemeni fuel.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Al-Masira, “Ali Masar” said: “The Saudi coalition seized the ship named “LADY SARAH” carrying 9,332 tons of gas and did not allow this ship to enter Hodeidah port.

The spokesman of the Yemen Gas Company emphasized the continued violation of the provisions of the Yemeni ceasefire by the Saudi coalition, stating that this vessel has a United Nations license.

He also asked the United Nations to fulfill its duties and prevent the Saudi coalition from stopping ships carrying Yemeni fuel.

Meanwhile, “Hans Grundberg”, the UN special representative for Yemen affairs, announced about a month ago the agreement of the Yemeni parties to extend the ceasefire by 2 months.

He said: The extension of the ceasefire in Yemen includes the commitment of the parties to negotiate in order to reach a broader agreement.

The ceasefire in Yemen, which has been repeatedly violated by the aggressor Saudi coalition, was extended once before following the consultations of the United Nations. The 2-month extension of this ceasefire ended on August 11, which was extended again.

Earlier, Mehdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, said that the ceasefire in Yemen has almost been destroyed due to repeated violations by the Saudi coalition.

Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, and with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime, started large-scale attacks against Yemen – the poorest Arab country – from April 6, 2014.

Contrary to the expectations of the Saudis, their attacks hit the strong shield of the resistance of the Yemeni people, and after seven years of persistence and painful strikes by the Yemenis deep into Saudi lands, especially the Aramco facilities, Riyadh was forced to agree to a ceasefire in the hope of getting out of the swamp of war in Yemen.
