The 22nd Al-Hashd al-Shabi Brigade surrounded the attackers in an operation to repel a heavy night attack by ISIL elements in Salah al-Din province.

The General Information Office of the Iraqi Al-Hashd Al-Shabi Organization reported on Saturday night that the 22nd Brigade of this organization (Badr Corps) repelled a heavy attack by ISIL elements in Salah al-Din province, during which bloody clashes took place.
According to the report, the operation to repel the attack of ISIL elements continues until the moment this news is prepared and the clashes in the “Al-Aith” area are reported to be severe.
Saberin News quoted its sources as saying that ISIL elements in the area had been besieged by al-Hashd forces, but that 11 people had been killed in the clashes, including Abu Alia al-Hasnawi, commander of the third Regiment.
