The Iraqi parliament member’s claim: Al-Kazemi fled to the UAE due to the fear of trial

Pak Sahafat – A member of the Iraqi parliament claimed that former Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi fled to Dubai from the fear of being tried through Iraqi Kurdistan.

According to the report of the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, Ali al-Zubaidi, a member of the Fatah coalition, announced in a conversation with the Iraqi news site Al-Malouma: The current government of Iraq continues its plans to fight corruption and the corrupt and there is no red line in this regard, and in this regard, Mustafa Al-Kazemi is afraid of being tried for the crime of covering up corruption and participating in the assassination of the commanders of the Victory (Sardar Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis) was secretly transferred to Dubai through Iraqi Kurdistan.

Al-Zubaidi emphasized in this conversation: There is no red line for Sudani to fight and punish the corrupt and everyone including Al-Kazemi will be punished.

He pointed out that many cases have now been referred to the judiciary.

Regarding the escape of the former prime minister of Iraq, he emphasized: Al-Kazemi was transferred to Iraqi Kurdistan and from there to Dubai so that he would not be tried and punished.

This member of the Al-Fatah coalition emphasized: Al-Kazemi is accused of corruption, influence in the security apparatus and assassination of the commanders of the victory, and these issues have caused him to secretly go to the Kurdistan region of Iraq and escape to the UAE from there, even if he is not a criminal, still he covered up many existing corruptions.

Mohammad Al-Baldavi, another member of Al-Fatah coalition, in a conversation with the Iraqi media, demanded a general review of the structure and security commands that were formed during the Kazemi government.

Referring to the transfer of more than 300 members of the Iraqi Intelligence Service to the border points, he emphasized that this issue should be re-examined, because no reason for doing this was announced by Al-Kazemi’s government.

It should be noted that no official Iraqi source has confirmed or denied the issue of Al-Kazemi’s escape, but Iraqi media reports that the trial of Al-Kazemi’s assistants has begun in Iraqi courts.
