The head of Mossad will come to the Persian Gulf after retirement

The current head of Mossad, Yossi Cohen, is set to work in the Persian Gulf region after leaving the post and retiring.

In a report in this regard, Ma’ariu newspaper revealed that the head of Mossad, whose term of office has ended and he will retire in a few days, has planned to do business in the Persian Gulf region and transfer his activities there.

According to the Hebrew-language newspaper, Yossi Cohen is set to establish his own investment fund in the Persian Gulf region, and in this regard, an agreement has been reached with individuals such as former US Treasury Secretary Steve Manuchein to participate in the board of directors of this fund.

Cohen was reportedly preparing to start the company when he was in charge of secret relations with Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, when he retired.

Reports suggest that, contrary to existing protocols, Cohen began talks with Manuchehr a few weeks before retiring and has even traveled to the southern Gulf several times to that end.

According to the Hebrew-language media, Cohen, on the sidelines of his activities as Mossad chief, even at the height of the recent crisis with the Gaza Strip and when contacting the Qatari side to send a message to Hamas and determine how to send Qatari aid to the Gaza Strip He also followed up on his company.
