The era of “hit and run” is over for the Zionists

Lebanese political analysts have interpreted the Lebanese Hezbollah’s scathing response to the Zionist regime’s attacks as part of the movement’s efforts to establish the rules of engagement with Israel, or in other words, the end of the “hit and run“.

Maher al-Khatib, a prominent Lebanese political analyst, wrote in an article today (Saturday) on the Lebanese Al-Nashra news site, quoting some Lebanese sources, examining the recent military tensions on the Lebanese-occupied Palestinian border: Lebanon’s Hezbollah yesterday responded to Israel’s recent military aggression against Lebanon and violation of its sovereignty by firing dozens of rockets.

He added: Some follow-up sources told the publishing site, in a statement, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for yesterday’s military offensive in occupied northern Palestine and made it clear that he does not want further tensions, but with this operation he wants to establish the rules of the conflict with Israel since 2006, because Israeli planes bombed the area of ”Damascus” last Thursday morning around the town of “Al-Mahmoudia” in Lebanon, the aim of which is to try to Avio was in conflict to change these rules.

According to Al-Khatib, the sources stated that Hezbollah deliberately stated in its statement that the open ground around Israeli army positions in the occupied fields has targeted Shabaa with dozens of missiles; if he wanted to, he would be able to fire missiles at these positions. As a result, Hezbollah did not want to escalate into escalating military tensions or full-scale conflict, and Tel Aviv did so in order to avoid further dangers.

The Lebanese analyst stated: According to the sources, Hezbollah’s response to the aggression and dangerous violation of Lebanese sovereignty emphasizes that the unfavorable situation in Lebanon does not make the party tolerant of the deterrent equation with Israel, and this is an issue that Tel Aviv, which was committed to this situation at a later stage, should take into account.

The Lebanese political analyst concluded by quoting the mentioned sources: In its operation yesterday, Hezbollah, in addition to establishing the rules of engagement with Israel, wanted to emphasize that dealing with Tel Aviv is different from the internal developments in Lebanon and will not tolerate Israel.
