Tel Aviv made the arrival of aid to Gaza conditional on the return of military bodies

The Israeli war minister threatened the Gaza Strip with more attacks if resistance operations continued, saying that any aid to the area would depend on the return of Israeli military bodies from the area.

Despite the emphasis of various international organizations and human rights organizations on the need for humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip as soon as possible to rebuild the region, the child-killing Zionist regime has continued to do so.

On Monday evening, Israeli War Minister Bani Gantz reiterated his condition that any aid to the Gaza Strip be returned to the military bodies killed in the area and Israelis detained by resistance groups.

According to the Times of Israel website, Gantz stressed in a press conference that the conditions of Tel Aviv must be met before any aid enters the Gaza Strip: “I spoke with representatives of the United States, Egypt and other countries around the world, and I emphasized that the reconstruction of Gaza must be accompanied by the return of the bodies of our troops, as well as the continuation of peace.”

He also reiterated the empty threats against Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip, claiming: “Israel’s rules of engagement with Hamas have changed and we will respond more harshly to any ceasefire violation … we will not allow the previous facts to show themselves again.”

The Israeli Minister of War, while emphasizing the need to strengthen the role of the Palestinian Authority in the Gaza Strip in order to weaken the resistance groups, added: “In addition, we are working to strengthen our relations with the Palestinian Authority, and I hope that they will be willing to take responsibility for part of what is happening in Gaza.”

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the head of Egypt’s intelligence service and called on Cairo to help Tel Aviv return the bodies of soldiers killed in Gaza and weaken Hamas.

The Israeli regime has made aid conditional on the arrival of aid to Gaza, with the UN Security Council calling for immediate humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in its first statement since the 12-day war, stressing the need for full ceasefire.
