Saudi analyst: In the recent understanding with the US, Iran won; America is not trustworthy

Pak Sahafat – A Saudi analyst described the recent agreement between the United States and Iran to release part of Iran’s property in exchange for the release of several spies as a victory for Iran and wrote that the lesson to be learned from this agreement is that America cannot be trusted.

According to the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, “Khalid Al-Hamil”, an analyst and journalist with a long history of Saudi Arabia, who is a staunch opponent of Iran and Hezbollah in the region, reacted to the news of the recent agreement between Tehran and Washington to release part of Iran’s money in other countries in exchange for the release of several American spies.

In an article he published on the social network “X” (former Twitter), the adviser of Saudi Arabia’s “Al Jazeera” newspaper wrote, “It is clear that you cannot interact with the American democratic government except by pressure and challenge. The proof of this is that Iran was able to obtain the agreement of the United States to release some of its prisoners in Washington and access to twenty billion dollars [of its money] in Iraq. Also, Iran will get nine billion dollars from its blocked money.

The head of the Media Studies and Consulting Center in Riyadh continued: “Also, Iran obtained the agreement of the United States to maintain its enriched uranium stockpile and enrichment at the level of 60%, so that in return for all this, it would release only five Iranians with American citizenship.”

Al Hamill then asked a question and answered: “Who won and who lost and licked the dirt [rubbed his muzzle on the dirt]?” Yes, [Joe] Biden and his administration; Iran also won.”

This Saudi analyst asked the Arab countries to learn from this understanding and not to trust the American government. He wrote: What should the Arab countries learn from this agreement between America and Iran? Yes; Lack of trust in the American government and that the option of the Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia, is based on their own interests, not the interests of the United States.
