Panic in Israel; Hebrew-language media reported a 20 percent increase in police contacts

While the Hebrew-language media reported an increase in Zionist contact with police emergency telephone numbers, Israeli officials continue to seek to reduce the security turmoil in their regime by any means possible.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Yedioth Ahranoth newspaper published a report on its website from the Zionist regime police emergency center: The vast majority of Israelis believe that the next operation is imminent; therefore, the number of calls to this center has increased by 20% for fear of further attacks.

“Shlumi Sagi,” a Tel Aviv police operations officer, told the Hebrew-language media: We have had a challenging week.

He revealed that one of the high-ranking officers of the Israeli army was seriously injured during the fetal operation.

He acknowledged that he had turned all cities into military barracks to counter Palestinian militant operations. Tel Aviv is full of soldiers and security forces, and this can even be seen on the beaches.

He said that during this period, 20 percent was added to the calls made to the police emergency number and 30 percent was added to the incidents in which the Israeli police had to be present at the scene.

According to the Israeli officer, the increase in public contact has led to a shortage of police.

Sagi confessed: In addition to responding to public concern (about Palestinian militant operations), the Israeli police have other responsibilities, such as dealing with everyday crimes.

The police officer also stressed that he is confident that the next operation is imminent and that the actions of the police and army forces cannot be considered a permanent obstacle.

On the other hand, the 13th channel of the Zionist regime reported that General Avio Koukhafi, the chief of staff of the Israeli army, ordered the army to prepare for Operation Barrier 2.

According to the Hebrew-language news network’s website, Kukhafi, who is in Tel Aviv to monitor the performance of the Nahal Special Forces, said he had instructed army commanders to prepare for Operation Barrier 2 in the next month or so.

He stressed that there was a possibility of rockets being fired by the Islamic Jihad movement from Gaza due to the recent killing of three members of the group in Jenin.

In another report, the 13th Zionist TV channel quoted the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army as saying: The large-scale deployment of troops along the West Bank border alone will cost Israel about one billion shekels.
