Palestinian representative: solitary confinement can never break the will of our prisoners

Pak Sahafat – A member of the Palestinian parliament said on Thursday night that solitary confinement can never break the will of our Palestinian prisoners and leaders.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, quoted by the Palestinian “Shahab” news agency, “Mohammed Daraghmeh” said that being a prisoner in the prisons of the Zionist regime is one of the harshest punishments that this regime imposes on Palestinians, although these measures will never weaken their will, stability and resistance.

He said that the Zionist occupiers seek to capture the pulse of the national feeling of Palestinians through the detention policy and prevent them from expanding their general awareness.

Draghmeh said: Over time, with the cultivation of fighters and elders who carry the idea of resistance against the invaders; the policy of arresting Palestinians has not only failed, but has also had the opposite result.

He pointed out that the occupiers have no alternative to arresting the youth, so they resort to harassing the prisoners with arbitrary actions in order to crush the will, stability and determination of the Palestinian prisoners.

The words of this Palestinian official come after the Zionist regime transferred about 40 Palestinian prisoners to solitary confinement in very difficult conditions.
