Erdogan’s promise to build more than 6 million earthquake-proof residential units in Turkey

Pak Sahafat – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday night: We are trying to build 6 million and 500 earthquake-resistant residential units.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from “Anatolia” news agency, Erdogan said these words in a ceremony that was held on the occasion of the beginning of the urban transformation project in the “Heroman Marash” province in the south of Turkey; explained.

He said that the Turkish government has built 3,300,000 residential units within the framework of the civil transformation project in the last 2 decades.

Although the exact damage of this earthquake, which is referred to as the “disaster of the century”, has not yet been determined; But some economic institutions have announced their estimates of the amount of damage caused by this earthquake and said that the Turkish economy can hardly recover from the damage caused by this event.
