Pak Sahafat – The Zionist regime is implementing a new plan to connect the Zionist settlements of the West Bank to the city of Quds.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report quoting SAMA news agency, Haaretz newspaper wrote on Monday: The purpose of the project, which began to be implemented today, is to connect the Zionist settlements of the West Bank, including the large settlement of “Ma’ali Adumim” to Jerusalem.
According to this newspaper, the Zionist regime is trying to prevent Palestinians from entering the area between these settlements and Jerusalem by creating a new route.
The current path of movement of Palestinians to both sides of the West Bank now passes through the area where the new plan of the Zionists is supposed to be implemented.
Building a new street for the Palestinians will allow the occupiers to destroy all the Zionist settlements and build a barrier wall around them.
Fearing the reaction of the international community, the previous cabinets of the Zionist regime had so far refrained from building Zionist complexes in the area between Quds and the town of “Maali Adumim”.

In 2020, the former prime minister of the Zionist regime, Naftali Bennett, ordered the separation of the Palestinian movement path as a prelude to the implementation of the said plan.
An Israeli group called “Peace Now” announced that one of the goals of the new plan is to relocate the residents of the Palestinian village “Al-Khan Al-Ahmar” because with the implementation of this plan, the connection of this village with other Palestinian villages in the West Bank will be cut off.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also condemned this plan, considering it a prelude to the expansion of settlements.
Mohammad Hamadeh, the spokesman of Hamas in Quds, said: The new plan of the Zionists will lead to the closure of large areas of the center of the West Bank in front of the movement of the Palestinians, and it is the clear crystallization of the usurpation of the Palestinian lands.
He asked the United Nations and the international community to take immediate action to prevent the expansion of settlements, which is a great danger for the Palestinian nation.
