Lebanese Foreign Minister: Israel is the cause of insecurity and instability in the region

Pak Sahafat – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Lebanon said that the Zionist regime is still the cause of insecurity and instability in the region and insists on continuing its hostile policies.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, Abdallah Bouhabib, Foreign Minister of the Government of Lebanon’s Affairs, at the 158th session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of foreign ministers in Cairo, emphasized that the country of Lebanon is suffering from daily attacks and daily violations of its sovereignty by the Zionist regime. This regime insists on continuing its hostile policies and creating tension and uses Lebanon’s airspace to attack Syria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Lebanon emphasized that the Zionist regime still refuses to withdraw from the occupied territories of Lebanon according to international resolutions 425 and 1701 in the Shebaa fields of Lebanon and the hills of Kafrshuba and the northern part of Al-Ghajar village, and the international silence of this regime is due to the continuation of attacks, violations of sovereignty Lebanon and encourages violations of international law.

Bou Habib said that his country is counting on the united Arab position in support of Lebanon in dealing with this issue.

He further said: In Occupied Palestine, the Zionist occupation regime continues its hostile policies against the Palestinian nation, and the purpose of this policy is to prevent the creation of a final solution for the Palestinian issue, and this shows that the Zionist regime is still the cause of insecurity and instability in Palestine.

Based on this report, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lebanese government also said that his country continues to emphasize the importance of unity in Palestine as a necessity to create a solution based on the Arab compromise plan approved by the 2002 Summit in Beirut, which protects the legal rights of the Palestinian people.

He also stressed the need to implement UN resolutions in this regard, especially Resolution 194, and noted that without creating a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, there will be no peace and stability in the region.

Bou Habib also pointed out that Syria is a founding member of the Arab League, and emphasized the need for Syria to return to this league.
