Jordanian Party: The project of dividing Al-Aqsa Mosque is a declaration of war

Pak Sahafat – Jordan’s “Islamic Action Front” party said on Monday night in response to the Zionist regime’s plan to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews that this plan amounts to a declaration of war.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Al-Mayadeen report, the statement of the “Islamic Action Front” party states: Examining the plan to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Knesset (Parliament of the Zionist regime) is a declaration of war and a clear attack on Jordan’s authority over the holy places.

The Islamic Action Front added: We ask the government to take effective measures to deal with the project of dividing and Judaizing Al-Aqsa Mosque, and assume its responsibilities in this regard.

Earlier, the Supreme Islamic Board and the Board of Scholars of Jerusalem had warned against the conspiracy of the Zionist regime to change the status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

These statements were made after “Amit Helivi”, a member of the Likud party in the Zionist Parliament (Knesset), presented a plan based on which Al-Aqsa Mosque will be divided in terms of location.

According to Helivi’s alleged plan, the Muslims will own the southern part of the mosque and the Jews will own the middle and northern parts, including the Dome of the Rock mosque.
