Pak Sahafat – The Zionist regime issued 260 arrest warrants for Palestinians in January.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from the Palestinian media, the Board of Prisoners and Released Persons Affairs added in a report that 113 cases of these new sentences and 157 cases were extensions of previous sentences.
Currently, about 860 Palestinians are in temporary detention in the prisons of the Zionist regime without being charged.
Among the prisoners in temporary detention in the prisons of the Zionist regime, there are seven children and two women.
The Zionist regime usually extends the order of temporary detention of Palestinian prisoners repeatedly for 2 to 6 months.
In the past month (January), the Zionist regime set a new record in the killing of Palestinians, and 35 Palestinians were martyred in the past month alone.
This Palestinian ministry considered this month to be the bloodiest month for the West Bank since 2015.
According to the report of this Palestinian medical organization, the Zionist soldiers and settlers shot dead 35 people, including 8 children and an elderly woman, 20 of who were residents of the city of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, which was attacked by the Zionists two weeks ago on Thursday.
The Office of the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Territories (OCHA) announced on January 11 and in its annual report that 2022 was the bloodiest year for Palestinians since 2005, as 230 people were killed by Zionist bullets this year.
According to this report, out of the total number of Palestinians killed, 171 were martyred in the West Bank, 53 in the Gaza Strip, and 6 others in the occupied territories of 1948.
In this report, it was also stated that last year, 9,335 Palestinians were injured in confrontation with the army of the occupying regime or during the attack of the Zionist forces on the Palestinian areas.
According to this report, Zionist settlers also launched 793 attacks last year, in 582 of which a lot of damage was done to Palestinian property and 211 people were injured.
