Pak Sahafat – “Manoj Pandey”, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Indian Army, said that Beijing intends to replace the United States, referring to China’s mediation in the restoration of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and efforts to establish peace between Russia and Ukraine.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing PTI news agency, Pande said on Monday: Mediating the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia and presenting a 12-point peace plan to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict shows that China insists on replacing the United States as the provider of global security.
Referring to the border disputes between China and India, he said that the efforts of the Chinese side to cross the “line of actual control” and violate the agreements between the two countries have caused India concern, but the Indian army is on high alert.
Pande emphasized: I think that the most important aspect in our operational environment is the challenges that exist in the disputed borders.

He added: Disputes and territorial claims continue due to differences of opinion regarding the actual line of control. Violation of this line may increase tension.
Relations between Beijing and New Delhi have been strained in recent years. The Indian Armed Forces and the Chinese Army have been engaged in sporadic clashes since April 2020 in an area east of Ladakh, and both sides have rapidly developed military infrastructure along the Line of Actual Control.
However, China and India are simultaneously negotiating at the military and diplomatic levels to reduce hostilities, peacefully resolve their challenges, and break the deadlock.
India and China have the largest land gap in the world, covering an area the size of North Korea.
