Imprisonment of 5 thousand Palestinians in the prisons of the Zionist regime

Pak sahafat – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced in a report on Tuesday morning that about 5,000 Palestinians are imprisoned in prisons and detention and investigation centers.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club has stated in its report: About 5 thousand Palestinians were imprisoned in 23 prisons and detention centers of the Zionist regime.

According to this report, among the Palestinian prisoners, 31 women, 160 children and 17 journalists are in prison in “Damon” prison located in the north of occupied Palestine.

This report added: More than 700 Palestinian prisoners are suffering from diseases, of which 24 people have incurable diseases such as cancer and tumors.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club added: 1,830 Palestinian prisoners, including three women and 19 children, are in administrative detention (temporary detention without charge and for an indefinite period) of the Zionist regime.

Earlier, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office had announced that the repressive forces of “Metsada” raided Ward 21 of the Negev prison and, while repressing the prisoners, transferred a number of them to solitary confinement.

In the middle of this year, Palestinian prisoner Sheikh Khizr Adnan was martyred in the prisons of the Zionist regime after 86 days of hunger strike.
