Pak Sahafat – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement emphasizing: To preserve the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem, we wholeheartedly resist settlement building.
According to a report today (Sunday) by Al-Ahd news website, the statement reads: We condemn the new Zionist settlement plan in occupied Jerusalem with the aim of separating Al-Masara neighborhood from Bab Al-Amoud and other neighborhoods of this holy city, and it is a step towards Judaization and open encroachment on Jerusalem and endowments. We know that it is Islamic and Christian, with the aim of changing the historical identity of Jerusalem and weakening the presence of the Palestinians.
