Hamas official: Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line

Pak Sahafat – “Saleh al-Arouri”, the deputy head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Wednesday night that Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Sama news agency in Palestine, al-Arouri added in an interview with Al-Aqsa TV channel: The occupied city of Quds is in the center of turmoil, and all the Zionist cabinets are coveting it, and this case is more dangerous and controversial than all other cases.

He said: The existence of the Zionist regime is a real danger for the region, and the fascist government seeks to disrupt the entire situation in the region with its criminal plans and policies.

The vice-head of the political office of Hamas added: The goal of the extreme terrorist Itmar Bin Guer is to Judaize Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied West Bank.

Al-Arouri further said: Netanyahu started his aggression in the Gaza Strip and assassinated the leaders of the resistance and their families with the aim of restoring his defeated image in front of the Zionist society.

He added: As a result of its policy towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, the West Bank, Iran and the nuclear program of the region, the fascist Zionist cabinet is pushing towards big explosions.

This senior Hamas official stated that the occupiers have carried out a criminal policy against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Quds, and emphasized that there are all options to deal with the Zionist enemy.

Al-Arouri also said: There must be a national strategy to deal with the occupation plans in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The vice-chairman of the Hamas political office added: We are not against any political efforts or diplomatic relations that serve the cause of Palestine and put pressure on the occupiers to stop their crimes. We ask Fatah to adopt a single national strategy that includes all paths of political, popular and armed resistance, and we agree with Fatah regarding the seriousness of the Palestinian situation, and this requires leadership decisions commensurate with the seriousness of the field.

He added: Experience has proven that political action alone did not achieve results, and an honest review requires the creation of a new national strategy that constitutes comprehensive resistance. We agree with all factions on the comprehensive resistance strategy, including political action and resistance.

Al-Aroori also said that the claims that Hamas is planning to control the West Bank are empty propaganda aimed at increasing the speed of the internal conflict in the service of the occupation. No one can control the Palestinian people except through popular legitimacy.

The Vice-Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau further emphasized that any struggle against the resistance in the West Bank serves so that the occupiers can control our Palestinian people.

Al-Aruri added: We have heard talk of economic projects in Gaza in exchange for a ceasefire in the media, and maybe the warring parties are behind it.

This Hamas official emphasized once again that this movement will not leave the resistance equation in exchange for any economic and political project, and that Gaza will remain at the heart of the effective resistance.

The deputy head of the political office of Hamas noted that the meeting between the leader of Hamas and the leader of the Islamic Jihad movement in Cairo is very important in terms of the unity of the resistance’s point of view, and the meeting was successful and achieved its goals, and we are in the same stronghold.
