A Hamas spokesman stressed that the French Prime Minister’s claims could not legitimize the Zionist regime in the Palestinian territories.
Hamas Qassim, a spokesman for the Palestinian movement Hamas, condemned the allegations made by French Prime Minister Jean-Castique. Castex claimed that Jerusalem was the capital of what he called the “Jewish nation.”
In an interview with Shahab News Agency, Qasim said that this statement encourages the Zionist regime to take measures related to Judaization in the occupied Jerusalem. He also stressed that such statements cannot change the historical facts.
A Hamas spokesman said that the French Prime Minister’s claim would have no legitimacy for the Zionist regime in the Palestinian territories, adding that these allegations were a false Zionist narrative and in line with the Zionist regime’s racist plot against the Palestinian people, especially the residents of occupied Jerusalem.
Qasim stated that international custom and all charters are against the urban planning policy in Jerusalem and the Islamic and Christian sanctities in it. Therefore, the dangerous dimension of the repetition of the Zionist narrative by the French officials in international circles is the support of the continuation of the Zionist regime’s urbanization and the racial cleansing that this regime is committing in this holy city.

A Hamas spokesman called on all Palestinian groups to respond to the allegations. Qasim also called on regional and international countries to redouble their efforts to support the issue of Palestine and Jerusalem, and to implement international charters that oppose urbanization in the city.
The Hamas spokesman concluded by emphasizing that the Palestinian resistance and groups must provide a platform for Al-Quds and not allows the Zionist regime in the city to use violence against its people.
In this regard, the Islamic Jihad movement recently stressed that the occupied Jerusalem must be liberated and that they will not stop liberating it. The Palestinian movement stated that Quds is the axis of the war between right and wrong, and that the Arab and Islamic nations will play their role in this battle. Islamic Jihad also said it would support the resistance.
Islamic Jihad noted that the residents of Quds created the epic of resistance by insisting on fighting terrorism and opposing policies of ethnic cleansing. The movement also thanked the resistance forces and the Mujahideen for the victory of the Quds Sword, and their fingers are still on the trigger to defend Quds and its soil.
