Pak Sahafat – The Central Committee of the Fatah Movement, honoring the name of the Palestinian martyr Nasser Abu Hamid, a Palestinian prisoner who died in the prison of the Zionist regime, announced: The story of the life of this martyred commander is the story of the lives of all Palestinians who were taken hostage by the occupying regime of Jerusalem.
According to the report of Pak Sahafat News Agency from Samanews, Fatah’s statement on this occasion states: Arresting and killing Palestinian fighters behind bars has become a part of the occupying policy, a policy that will certainly be doomed to failure, because for them it is an achievement other than the stability and determination of the Palestinians on the way to achieving their rights and realizing their dreams.
The head of martyrs and prisoner’s affairs in the Hamas movement also issued a statement on this occasion and announced: The record of the Zionist regime and its prison administration is full of crimes against Palestinian prisoners that will not go unanswered.
“Zaher Jabarin” by honoring the memory and name of Martyr Abu Hamid emphasized: a day will come when the occupiers will pay a heavy price for their crimes.
The Islamic Jihad movement also held the Zionist regime fully responsible for the assassination of Abu Hamid and warned this regime about the consequences of this crime.
In a statement, this organization called on human rights and humanitarian institutions to fulfill their moral responsibilities towards this great crime by supporting the prisoners and to prevent the violation of the rights of Palestinian prisoners by the regime’s prison organization and to protect the prisoners from killing and torture.

The Authority for Dealing with the Affairs of Palestinian Prisoners and Freedmen announced that the 50-year-old prisoner “Nasser Abu Hamid” from the Al-Amari camp in the Ramallah section of the West Bank of the Jordan River – due to the deliberate medical negligence of the Zionist regime’s prisons administration towards sick Palestinian prisoners – is in the hospital.
The authorities of the Zionist regime had transferred this Palestinian prisoner from Ramleh prison to Asaf Hrofieh hospital on Monday afternoon due to his severe health deterioration.
Before this, the organization for handling the affairs of Palestinian prisoners and freedmen had warned about the martyrdom of this Palestinian prisoner due to medical negligence regarding his health condition due to his cancer.
Abu Hamid’s health condition in prison had clearly deteriorated since August 2021.
