Establishment of a new intelligence unit in Israel to monitor media personalities

Pak Sahafat: A Zionist media reported that the regime has set up a new intelligence unit to monitor prominent media figures, and the purpose of this intelligence unit is to obtain some information to prevent attacks against the regime and to track down anti-Israel media activists.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency, quoting Rai Al-Youm, the Zionist website Walla wrote in a report that the Zionist regime has established a new intelligence unit called “I Monitor” and the task of this unit is to monitor the statements and content published by prominent media personalities. Among these media personalities are Ghassan bin Jeddou, the director of Al-Mayadin, and Abdul Bari Atwan, the editor-in-chief of Rai Al-Youm, and Ali Shoaib, the correspondent of Al-Manar, and Ibrahim Al-Amin, and the editor-in-chief of Al-Akhbar, Lebanon.

The statement said: The purpose of establishing this intelligence unit is to monitor and follow all the material that is published in the media and to confront and violate the narrations of the occupiers. This intelligence monitoring also includes content that political and media activists publish on social media, with the goal of gaining information and completing their analysis puzzles.

The author stated: It is clear that this decision was made following the great intelligence failure of the Zionist regime, and on the other hand, Israel is trying to confuse the media figures and make them feel that they are under siege for 24 hours. It is also an attempt to spread “self-censorship” and the declining media, especially since the media has made a great spiritual impact over the past few years and exposed many media and political conspiracies.

The report also says that this action, at the same time, can be a wake-up call to keep pace with the growth and development of technology, because technology has always been the basis for countering the occupation.

The author states in his report: They believe that following the statements of these media personalities gives them information through which they can complete their puzzle, but we are now talking about characters who have a lot of experience in media work. Therefore, this intelligence unit sometimes even has difficulty in deciphering the statements of media personalities.

The author says: The intelligence department of the Zionist regime has come to the conclusion that sometimes a small part of a puzzle is found to complete the image on social media, networks and Internet sites, therefore, by setting up a unit that operates 24 hours a day and monitors the personalities of the Arab world, it can obtain information and counter some attacks against this regime in the occupied territories.

In another part of this report, it is stated: The octopuses of the Israeli army’s intelligence department record and monitor millions of phone calls, messages and photos of their enemies on a daily basis, in order to be informed of threats and attacks, as well as secret and behind-the-scenes affairs. By closely monitoring the media in the Arab world, they want to identify and prosecute prominent activists, gain access to golden information, and counter the attacks that are to be carried out against them.

The author also states: For example, in the 1990s, the late Lebanese Hezbollah secretary general, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, was assassinated in the south of the country. It was reported that their leader would attend the funeral of a high-ranking official in southern Lebanon.
